One of America’s most popular events starts tonight in Green Bay, when the NFL stages its 2025 draft. In this edition of Dan On Sports, I offer a preview of the draft’s first five picks and other draft minutiae.
Here are some other items you need to know about the draft:
* Draft runs from Thursday through Saturday
* Round 1 begins at 8 p.m. on Thursday
* Round 2-3 are Friday, starting at 7 p.m.
* Rounds 4-7 are Saturday, starting at noon
* Teams have 10 minutes to make a pick in the first round
* Teams have seven minutes to make a selection in the second round
* Teams have five minutes to make a pick in rounds three through six
* Teams have four minutes to make a pick in the seventh round
