When will the clock strike midnight? That is the question for several clubs in baseball’s postseason. The New York Mets continue to play some of the best baseball in franchise history and the New York Yankees continue to win games with a near non-existent offense. Both clubs have punched their tickets to the LCS. The Detroit Tigers, languishing under .500 in late August, are one win from the ALCS, but the Cleveland Guardians also want to play the Yankees. Will the San Diego Padres play the Mets in MLB’s Final Four or will the high-priced Dodgers live up to their billing?
