NFL owners warn season ticket holders
Tough night for managers. NBA beats out PGA. Mets-Yanks can’t match WNBA
NFL owners are meeting in Minneapolis this week and although fans might think outlawing the tush-push is the major topic of conversation, the NFL bourgeois has issued a stern warning to the proletariat: cut the crap. Owners are upset some season ticket holders are selling their tickets on the secondary market to fans who root for the opposing teams.
The Indianapolis Colts are really cracking the whip. If season ticket holders sell their tickets to the majority of home games, they will not have their subscriptions renewed.
Colts season ticket holders received a letter last week, stating:
The policy is designed to ensure that tickets are used by genuine fans who will be present at our games, and to prevent the exploitation of our ticketing system.
The Colts are not alone. The Packers, Seahawks, Buccaneers and Lions are also taking steps to reduce the hijacking of the home stadium by fans of the opposing teams.
Meanwhile, owners have given the okay for players to compete in flag football in the 2028 Olympics. There are some conditions, however, that will be negotiated with the NFLPA. The games are scheduled for Los Angeles. Still no word on the tush-push and seeding of playoff teams.

As well he should, I might add, although Sirianni deserved the extension and does not receive enough credit for being an excellent coach.
